Bylaw Amendments Part 2

 

The bylaw amendments voting process will open on Monday, July 6, 2020, at 06h00 and close on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at 18h00.

 

Please note that ONLY members in good standing can vote on bylaw amendments per the CUPE Constitution.

 

In order to ensure secrecy of the ballot, Simply Voting Inc. has been hired as an independent third-party election provider.

 

Ballots will be encrypted and stored anonymously on their Canadian servers. The union will not be able to consult your

ballot or voting receipt. Election results will be certified by Simply Voting.

 

 

Online and call-in votes are accepted.

 

For members who have provided an email address on the Application for membership to CUPE local 1623 form, a PIN will be sent via email (Monday, July 6, 2020, at 06h00).

 

If an email address was not included, a PIN was mailed to the address provided.

 

 

 

The Part 1 amendments, which included fifteen sets of proposed bylaw amendments, were adopted in 2019.

 

The proposed amendments related to phase 2 was prepared by the Bylaw Committee. The Part 2 included five sets of proposed bylaw amendments;
